And thus Dexter became the second creepiest person in the household.
In other news, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
( 4x4 )
Season four started airing a couple of days ago, so I thought I'd mention there's a sometimes-chan for Dexter at #spatteranalysis that anyone watching is free to join and flail in.

[I can feel it building up. It's an almost physical pressure that I can't ignore any longer. All I can do, all I want to do, is let it flow through me, become a conduit for it again. It's been so long I can feel it tingling in my bones, crying out for a chance to be released. My instincts are humming through my veins, tensed and waiting for that perfect moment, waiting to discharge.]

In honour of me being slow like a tortoise but reaching 1k comments eventually:
Everything meme! First impressions, relationships, hot-or-not, ask me questions, give me essay topics, anything you like. I play Kousaka, Isabella, Dexter, Makoto, Sasha and Leo \o/

So, partner, did you vote in the suspicion poll?

OKAY SO I like playing Dexter's serial killer side just as much as his dorky I-am-so-innocent-guys-aren't-I side, but I don't really get a chance to play it much because Dexter is very cautious, especially since the Kristoph thing turned out worse than he thought he would. So he's probably not going to be killing anyone in CFUD in the near future (probably), but I was thinking! I had heaps of fun playing out that kill thread and I think Kristoph had fun too (RIGHT?) so I'm wondering if there's anyone who'd be interested in playing out an AU kill thread, by which I mean it wouldn't have any effect on the characters in CFUD proper, it'd just be for the fun of it. Of course this only applies to murderers, but I'm totally up for negotiating most other details.
This is ttly the only kind of AU Dexter is ever going to get. Anyway, thoughts?

SINCE WE NOW HAVE WOLVES AND SHIT RUNNING AROUND BEING CAMPERS:
I just thought I'd mention that dogs instinctively don't like Dexter! Cause they sense he's all screwed up or something. If you wanna ignore that for whatever reason then go ahead but if you want to play with it by all means do so, we can have fun with it :D

[I shouldn't be doing this. Everything I've been taught, everything I learned so eagerly from Harry, it all goes against this. He's too close, Deb's too close, everything in this prison is. I can't make it permanent, that alone should be enough. But it's not. The darkness is still there whispering to me, and I can't ignore it anymore. The stage is set, now all I need is to collect my captive audience.]

SO NOT OKAY
This is going to be long and rambly and jump around and stuff because I'm not even sure where I should start or how I should attempt to structure this, but this is my attempt at how Dexter works. For the record, I have absolutely no knowledge of psychology stuff so this is simply what I can tell from watching the show, focusing on him after season 2 since that's where I've taken him from. There will probably be some spoilers for both seasons but since this is about his character development and relationships with people, they probably won't be central to the plot exactly.

I'm probably missing some stuff I meant to talk about, and I've probably been unclear on some stuff so ask away if there's anything you want clarified or you think I've screwed up or you want me to ramble about or whatever! I'm better at responding to questions than I am at putting forth my ideas in the first place.

You two have been around a lot more than we have, so I'm curious to see what you think of the other teams. Best way to find the wolves is to work together after all, right?

Some of those questions are kind of hilarious in a Dexter context.

I'm taking Dexter from the end of season two, just for reference. So this is going to reflect that and I'll essay again when he updates after season 3 is finished.
Basically, Dexter follows the Code of Harry, which are the rules his dad taught him. The most important of which is Don't Get Caught. He also is only allowed to kill people who are killers themselves. I'm going to need a bit of time to work out how this works with some of camp's special cases, but he's only going to be killing camp characters VERY rarely, like maybe once every 4-6 months, so I don't think it'll become too much of a problem. I'll essay more about that in a minute though.
( For those who don't know Dexter's MO )
( How this is gonna work in camp )
